Stags after a great win against Letchworth 2's the previous week ( a team who drew with St Neots earlier in the season.) arrived at St Neots over confident and in an apathetic frame of mind. St Neots on the other hand were well organised and up for it. They had the game won by half time and a second half comeback when Stag started tackling and hitting the breakdown was too little too late only serving to keep the score line respectable.

Having said that the 2's have had a great start to the season playing thirteen games winning nine. There is competition for places and our target should be to win every remaining league game, something we are more than capable of.
